All Toastmasters in good standing are eligible. Current district officers, officers elect or appointee officers are ineligible to compete.
At the Club level all contestants leave the room and return singly to answer the same table topic. This topic is either announced by the Contest Chairman or may be placed face down on a card on the lectern. The individual contestant turns the card over to learn the topic then commences the response.
Timing is 1 to 2 minutes. However contestants will be disqualified if they speak for less than 1 minute or more than 2 minutes 30 seconds.
